I reached out about an issue with my order and it felt like no one really cared. The replies took forever, and when someone finally did answer, the email would say one thing while the next message seemed to say something completely different, which just made it more confusing. I kept having to explain the same situation over and over. For what they charge, I really expected much better customer service. Frustrating overall.

"Really friendly and easygoing staff"
The staff were super nice and made everything feel really easy. They helped me out without making it awkward or like I was bothering them, which I really appreciated. Like, they answered my questions, pointed me in the right direction, checked if I needed anything else, and just had a really friendly vibe the whole time. It felt natural, not forced or overly salesy or weird.

I had a few questions, and my snap judgment was that the staff really knew what they were talking about. They didn’t just throw out random suggestions, they actually knew the plants and helped me figure out what would work best in my space. Nobody rushed me, and it felt like they genuinely cared. Overall, really solid experience
"Pretty plants, but I was expecting more choices"
I’ll admit I’m always a little nervous with plant shopping because I don’t want to get fooled by nice photos and then end up with barely any real options. The plants they had were nice, and a few were genuinely really pretty, but the selection felt smaller than I expected. Some categories seemed kind of limited while I was browsing. I did find a couple things I liked, so it wasn’t a bad experience, just not as much variety as I was hoping for.

I went on the site expecting a decent amount of home stuff, but it felt limited once I started looking around. The website made it seem like there would be more to choose from, so I was a little confused when most of what I found wasn’t really my style. The prices also seemed kind of high for what was available. I didn’t spend much time on there before leaving. Just wasn’t really worth it for me...

The whole delivery experience was frustrating. It was late again, and I kept thinking, “Okay, maybe I’ll get an update soon,” but nope — nothing clear or helpful. At some point I was just sitting there wondering why I bothered. I don’t think I’ll be using them again.
"Really pleased with how the yard turned out"
Thompson Hanson did a really nice job on our yard. After the whole thing we were dealing with before, it just feels so much cleaner and more put together now. The plants look healthy, and the way everything is placed actually makes sense, which was a relief. It did take a bit longer than I thought it would, but once it was finished, I was happy with it. It’s a lot nicer sitting outside now. I’d use them again.

I ordered from thompsonhanson.com expecting it to show up in a normal timeframe, but the shipping ended up taking way longer than I thought it would. I kept checking the tracking, and it barely seemed to move for days, which made the whole thing feel a little off.
There also wasn’t much communication unless I went digging for updates myself. By the time it finally arrived, I didn’t really need it anymore, so the experience was frustrating. i’m not sure I’d order again

I could tell quickly the install was a bit sloppy. There were gaps left in several spots, and it just gave me the feeling that the job wasn’t done with much care.

"Solid value and better than expected"
I ordered from thompsonhanson.com and, looking back, it kind of checked the boxes I usually watch for: fair pricing, decent quality, and no weird surprises. Compared with a few other places I’d been browsing, this didn’t feel marked up just for the sake of it, and the quality was a bit better than I expected for the price.
Shipping went smoothly too, and everything showed up in good shape. I tend to notice patterns with online orders quickly, and this one felt like the good kind: straightforward, worth the money, and easy enough that I’d probably order from them again

"Took a little while to hear back"
It took a bit longer than I expected to get a reply, so I was kind of left waiting for a while. It wasn’t a huge issue, but I did feel a little frustrated at the time. I just hope the response time is quicker next time, because that would make the whole experience feel a lot better.

I’m convinced this store has one of the best vibes ever. It was calm, pretty, and not packed at all, which made it super easy to just wander around and enjoy looking at everything. I could’ve stayed in there way longer, no question.

I went into my appointment with Thompson + Hanson hoping I’d get some really clear design direction, and I guess they were helpful in a general sense, but it felt a little underwhelming overall.
The ideas they gave me were pleasant enough, and nothing sounded bad, but I kept waiting for something more specific or creative. I ended up asking a lot of follow-up questions, and even then I wasn’t totally sure I had a strong plan to work from.
They might be a good fit if you already have a clear vision and just need someone to confirm it. For me, though, I needed more help pulling everything together. Not a bad experience, just not quite as useful as I’d hoped.

I was able to find a nice gift quickly, so that part was good. Still, I felt a little disappointed because I was hoping for a better selection overall.

I didn’t have the best experience on thompsonhanson.com. I went in expecting things to be straightforward, but it ended up feeling more frustrating than smooth, and I kept wondering if I was doing something wrong or missing something.
Maybe it works better for other people, and I’m sure some folks have had no issues, but for me it just didn’t feel reassuring or easy to use. I wanted to feel confident about the process, and instead I left feeling kind of disappointed.
I probably wouldn’t use it again unless there were some clear improvements. I really just wanted a simple, stress-free experience, and unfortunately that’s not what I got.
